Family Reunion Fairness?

My (rich) cousins want to have a family reunion next year. They are almost dead set on having it at one particular place. This place includes food and drinks, tubing, kayaking and wading, miniature golf, gazing zoo, rock wall, moon bounce, ping pong, train ride, 1 kiddie ride and a giant slide. They are charging $35 pp ages 6 and up and $25 pp ages 2-6. It will cost me $190.00 for a 6 hour reunion at a crowded place and my kids won't even be able to do half the activities and they certainly won't eat $25 or $35 worth of food. However, if we have the reunion at a state park, they can fish, bike, hike, play organized sports, play on a nice size playground, pet horses, or go horsebackriding (extra fee). We could do a pot luck and have our own covered picnic pavilions, kids games, and NO CROWDS. A pavilion is only $35.00 and making a dish for a pot luck and buying soda is inexpensive. Should I tell them my idea? Should I bring up the cost to them? I love my cousins, BUT...........

They give you a diagnostic test and if you get a 1750 or above they put u in these special psat cles. I was really tired and i got a 1600 on the practice test. My parents got mad at me. They didn't even put me dinner. Then the next morning I woke up early and called the sat area and told them how I was tired and if I could take another test. My husband and I have a year old right now. He is in the Marine Corp. and has been stationed in Japan for the majority of these two years =/ He has missed out on ALOT. In the beginning, while pregnant with our son (landon) we agreed that we want at least 2. He would always joke how if I ever changed my mind he would change my birth control pills to skittles just to get me pregnant again! I thought it was too cute. haha However, now that he has missed so much he is afraid to even have another one. Alot of the guys in his unit have told them that they are closer with there 2nd child because they were able to be there for everthing. After hearing that, he is sooo afraid that he will be closer to the 2nd than he will be with Landon. Hes so afraid that he would rather not have another child, then risk it happening. I dont know what to do now! :( We had a plan as a couple, everthing thought out. Knew everything we wanted. I want another one soo bad. He will be stateside next month finally, so I want to wait at least a year for him to adjust to being around Landon and be a daddy for more than 28 days(thats the longest hes been able to take leave, and hes taken it only 5 times in 2years) I completely understand his point and side, I just dont know how to go about this. Is this a normal way for a chin to act?

i jus got him last week and i dont know if this is normal for him or not. i cant tell if his still getting used to me or if his sick. he eats and runs around in his cage a lot. I need help plz my baby is so miserable!?

my little girl is one month old i was feeding the first two weeks but couldn't because i ran dry and other problems so i put her on emfamil for fussiness and gas it seems to work ok plus my doc said to put some cereal in her bottles to help with her spitting up. Its not helping too much so i decided to try soy i have only given her three feeding and she is constantly fussy she has basically been crying for the past 4 hours. She is miserable and i have never heard her cry like this! Could she be allergic to soy and cow milk? She isn't constipated and mylicon and gripe water doesn't work well only like 15 minutes Like i said she is gy fussy and spits up a lot. She always sounds congested like she is snoring i try sucking her nose out and nothing? Did you just introduce your fish to the bowl? If so this could be normal behavior my male betta took a good week to stop flaring at himself in the gl. And he still does it every now and again. It's not bad for them to flare. Though he shouldn't be doing it all day and night. If he goes at it for maybe an hour or so without stop or if he's doing every ten to fifteen minutes then he's still giving himself some time to rest. I wouldn't worry too much. If it persists or this is a behavior that he's had since he's been home (more then a week-week and a half) then I would look up a way to block the reflection. Perhaps change the lighting or something.

ok, heres the deal. i have a 89 ford bronco 5.0 302. ive started to change the water pump. i removed the fan shroud, the fan, the belt, i removed all the bolts attached to the pump.. but ive hit a snag. the far right bolt that went on the pump is also attached to some seel piece thats also holding up the alternator.. doesnt look like a bracket because its really think. my question is do i remove this? because 2 of the wheels are also attached to this. (by wheels i dont mean tires lol) its wheels that the belt went around.

I have an eight year old daughter and ever since shes been in school shes been afraid to use her voice more, like not being shy with other kids in a clroom. How to keep crochet work from curving/curling?

I am crocheting a simple scarf out of relatively bulky yarn. I am using an I size hook because this is what the project calls for. I took advice from another forum and used a slighter bigger hook (size J) to make the foundation chain a little looser, and this helped with the beginning of the work, but now that I am working on different rows and doing different stitches and building on the scarf, it is starting to make a very sharp and noticeable curve to the right. What can I do to stop this? Is there anything I can do to prevent it from curving or just finish the scarf and modify it somehow to make it less noticeable? This happens from time to time with me, and it annoys me so! It doesn't happen all the time--only with certain patterns and fabrics, and it happened with a scarf I made for my husband, and even he noticed it and could tell the difference, and he doesn't know the first thing about crochet! lol Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I think the Saints are the best team in football at the moment. However, going 16-0 is not going to happen. The 2007 Patriots had a lot of veterans who have been in a lot of big games and they admitted afterward that the pressure and distraction to go undefeated was enormous. The Saints don't have the experience to deal with that distraction and pressure. It would be better for them to lose one or two games, because after a loss, good teams regroup and refocus. 6-0 is too early to talk about going ubdefeated.

BYU or AUR?

I have been accepted to both Brigham Young University and the American University of Rome. They are kind of opposites when it comes to college - AUR in big city, no religous affiliation, small student body, extremely far away from home, somewhat expensive. BYU in small city, LDS affiliation, huge student body, pretty close to home, less expensive. I want to major in Art History, and BYU's program is really good - but Art History in Rome, would be amazing!!! I have a pretty good scholarship to BYU and AUR is pretty expensive, so that is the big drawback. I am just really torn between the two, and would love anyone's input!

I am currently 14. I will be 15 in august this summer and I am getting a snowboard. I wanted to start this year but my parents won't take me to places in my area were I can learn and such. Are my sperrys' ruined?

I just got a pair of sperrys' a couple days ago. They are leather, so I picked up the Meltonian Water and Stain repellent for suede and leather in order too keep them looking new. I put the repellent on today around 3:30 p.m. and it has dried for the most part, but there are a few "stains" or watermarks that the repellent has left on the shoe. Has god 'called ' you?

I truly feel that God called me to the Catholic church I'm currently in the process of joining. What makes me so sure? Because I grew up loathing organized religion, I thought it was ludicris and I didn't grow up with Catholic parents (my father was a non-practicing Catholic, but I grew up with my mother), but joining this church is something I have to do. I'm not even sure why I feel the need to do it, and I doubt all the time. I feel very strongly called to this church. It's in the M every time I go, in the way I feel when I'm attending the RCIA cles, every time I speak to one of the priests. It just speaks to my soul. Some of the people on the RCIA team who have only joined the church in the last few years have mentioned having similar feelings when the first joined. Something tells me the first time I get confirmation or when the priest annoints me (I forget what that's called) that I'll know, I'll figure it out eventually. It'll come to me. But for now, it's just something I have to do.
