Can I get back a person that left in the game Harvest Moon Magical Melody on gamecube?

I figured that Basil, Ray, and Gwen have departed. Does that mean that they will not be coming back any time soon? Is it possible to get them back to the Flower Bud Village? Please help me with this. Thanks in advance for your istance. (: It is greatly appreciated. (:
