Why is racism so popular in Europe?

Sweden has a backlash against immigrants because they were forced on the Swedes by their socialist government. Violent crime has gone up in Sweden, and in Norway the Oslo police have announced that two thirds of the ual aults in the capital are committed by non-western immigrants. The people in small countries such as Denmark and Norway see themselves as being colonised by the newcomers, and the anti immigrant agitation is an anticolonialist popular response.
