Your advice - just bought a pair of timberland boots....read on ?

i have just bought a pair of pink timberland boots off ebay - when i opened the packaging the boots were different shades of pinks........a light one and a little darker pink, its like the suede has been rubbed off the one. i was fuming, as they were listed in excellent condition. i have been fully refunded and she told me too keep the boots if they were mismatched (she must have known)do you think its still ok to wear them, or is there anyway i can make them the same colour again. my hubby says once i have them on its barley noticeable but to me it is. what do you think?
