Why are my friends so critical about my music?

There isn't much you can do besides cranking up your music and ignoring them. That type of "Flavor of the Month" music will always be around. You'll have the satisfaction of knowing you don't give into musical fads and fade-outs. Maybe you can make a mix CD for your friends with music they like, and slip some of your favorite tunes in.
