The Scarlet Letter? Sins?

Sooo, I need some sins that Hester commited (besides adultery), and I was thinking of how she married "Roger Chillingworth" when she didnt even love him. She married him for his money. Is that a sin? And if so, how could I word it? Any other suggestions? Im writing a paper on this btw.
