PETA strikes again.........................…

the mascot ( bulldog) from a georgia college died last week from an apparent heart attack. instead of getting a new dog, peta wants the college to get an animatronic dog or stick with people dressed up as a dog because bulldogs are prone to dysplasia(sp) and respiratory issues and because buying a professionally bred dog causes dogs in shelters to lose their lives. am i the only person who thinks this is ridiculous and a little overboard?
