Help...How much fabric do I need to make these panels?

The rod is 48" wide. The length from rod to floor is 94". I have not included the hems, rod pocket, or fold over for the sides of panels (about 1" each side)? I will be making 6 panels but only want to know how much fabric in yards for each panel. Also, I would like them to be somewhat full when closed so maybe double the width for each?? Okay, hope I have provided enough info. I came up with 5 yards ea. but the fabric store said 3 yards...hmmmm
