Have you ever been a victim of a cashpoint scam?

Today I had my bank card swallowed by the cashpoint machine for no reason after typing my PIN and selecting the amount of money, I cancelled my card just to be safe but do you think this was the Lebanese Loop scam that happened, has this ever happened to you before?
