Can my husband not be involved if I file brankrupt?

Due to cirstances, I might consider filing bankrupcy in the near future. If my husband is taken off all my primary accounts and he takes me off all his primary accounts ( accounts that he is not the co-signer for, just given a card to use with my permission and vice-versa) can I file and not have it effect him and his credit? Also if the house mortgage is in his name but I am on the deed will the house have to be lumped in as well, or can we keep that seperate as well?
